Drivers of fuel tank trucks end their strike after causing fuel crisis in Tripoli
The drivers of the fuel tank trucks in Tripoli have ended their strike after starting it on Wednesday demanding to be secured by the authorities while they hit the road to transport fuel for the petroleum stations.
The strike, which started Wednesday, left Tripoli gas stations in complete mess as hundreds of cars queued at every stations in Tripoli and its suburbs to pump oil into their cars.
Sources told the Libyan News that the drivers of the tank trucks are now filling the tanks with fuel at the the Brega Petroleum Marketing Company’s headquarters in Tripoli’s Airport Road district.
