Mitiga Airport in Tripoli resumes flights after clashes halted
Flights from and to Tripoli’s Mitiga Airport resumed Wednesday afternoon, the airport security department announced on its Facebook page.
It also said that the clashes were stopped and the flights scheduled for the rest of Wednesday will be operating as normal.
This comes after the flights were suspended since last night due to clashes and rockets exchange between forces from the airport and what they described as an outlawed force.
Four people were killed and over 25 were injured on Tuesday as a rocket fell on the beach nearby the airport.
