Doha Film Institute-funded films awarded at Cannes

Three movies co-financed by the Doha Film Institute have been awarded honors at the 69th Cannes Film Festival this week.

The Salesman won Best Actor (Shahab Hosseini) and Best Screenplay; Divines won Camera d’or (a first for Arab cinema); and Mimosas won the Grand Prize at Critics’ Week.
