Head of Libyan Civil Registry Authority killed in armed attack

The Head of the Libyan Civil Registry Authority, Al-
Siddiq Al-Nahaisi, died Tuesday after suffering serious injuries from Monday’s armed attack on the authority’s headquarters in Tripoli, said the head of the media office Yousif Gargoum.
On Monday morning, an armed group attacked the Civil Registry Authority and shot the Head Al-Nahaisi along with another employee named Omar Gardab.
Government of National Accord’s Ministry of the Interior denounced the attack of Monday saying it will seek legal action agaisnt the armed group and will do its best to bring them to justice.
