Libyan archaeologists strike cooperation with Durham University

The Libyan Archaeology Authority has attended a meeting with representatives from the British Durham University in Tunisia in a bid to strike an agreement on cooperation in the archaeological fields with the university’s expertise.

The two parties also agreed that Durham University would provide help for Libyan archaeologist researchers as well as in the fields of documentation and surveying.

Libya’s archaeological body also agreed with Durham University on training programs inside and outside Libya as well as having some projects to document the Libyan archaeological sites using cutting-edge equipment.
