Tarhouna Brig. seizes Tripoli Airport, Tripoli Revolutionaries Brig. vows to wage war

The Tripoli International Airport has been seized by Al-Kaniat Brigade from Tarhouna city after the forces of the National Salvation Government had left the scene on Saturday following deadly clashes on Friday in the capital.
Al-Kaniat stepped in into the airport as a gesture for calming things down between warring armed forces of the NSG and Tripoli Revolutionaries Brigade, led by Haithem Al-Tajouri, and other brigades loyal to the Defence Ministry and Interior Ministry of the Government of National Accord (GNA).
The leader of the Tripoli Revolutionaries Brigade, Al-Tajouri, sent an ultimatum last night to Al-Kaniat Brigade telling them to evacuate the Tripoli International Airport as soon as they receive his words, or he would wage a war to take it back in the coming 24 hours.
“They have only till Sunday to depart the airport or war is coming to them.” Al-Tajouri said.
