Kobler describes Al-Jalaa hospital in Tripoli as “devastated”

The Head of the UNSMIL, Martin Kobler, said Wednesday, after a visit to Al-Jalaa Women and Children Hospital, that the hospital is in dire need for funding and support.

After meeting the Director of the hospital, Ahmed Shati, Kobler said that the conditions in Al-Jalaa Hospital are catastrophic and it needs quick funding and support to help it provide medical care for patients.

Kobler added that the hospital is also in need for medics and medical equipment, slamming lack of support for the vital hospital in the capital.

Kobler paid a visit to the hospital last January and stressed for the need of support and funding for the hospital.
