Libyan forces bust Saudi IS terrorist while combing through freed Sirte neighbourhood

The Misurata-led forces of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous apprehended three IS militants while combing through the recently freed Jizah neighbourhood.

The Government of National Accord-backed forces said the three terrorists were lurking inside one of the buildings in the seaside Jizah neighbourhood, but when they approached them, one of the three blew himself up.

“The other two are a Libyan and a Saudi Arabian nationals.” The media office of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous said Saturday.

The Crime Fight Unit of Misurata Security Department recovered Friday 217 bodies from different areas so that the number of corpses recovered from Jizah neighbourhood in Sirte over the last hours reached 483.
