Human Rights Solidarity urges UN to protect families stranded in Ganfodah, Benghazi
On Friday, Dignity Operation helicopters tossed down warning paper calling on families stranded in Ganfodah in Benghazi to leave in no more than 48 hobou via the coast road in coordination with Libyan Red Crescent.
HRS said on Facebook that it is monitoring the situation of the families in Ganfodah since last February and it has called local and international organisations to help provide a safe passage for them out of the district.
The number of the families trapped in Ganfodah has reached 133, 18 of which have different foreign nationalities.
