Libyan hajjis started flying to Saudi Arabia
On Sunday, the first flight for Libyan hajjis (pilgrims) has taken off from Mitiga airport in Tripoli and headed to Saudi Arabia with 250 hajjis on board of a Libyan Airlines plane, said the spokesman of the Haj Committee, Hussein Al-Shirtaa.
the spokesman added that the hajjis from the east will take off from Labreg airport in the east and they actually started flying to Saudi Arabia on Sunday evening, adding that the last flight for the hajjis is scheduled on September 05.
This year, over 5000 Libyan hajjis will arrive in Saudi Arabia to do the haj religious duty and according to the spokesman all of them will be in the holy land before September 06.
