Al Ahli Tripoli begin Egypt camp with five-goal win
Al Ahli Tripoli opened their pre-season friendly programme in Egypt with a commanding 5-0 victory over Alexandria Petroleum as they stepped up preparations for the new campaign.
Mohamed Al-Munir, Ezzou Al-Maremi, Omran Salem, Jaafar Abu Latifa and Majdi Bin Haila shared the goals in a dominant display from the Libyan Cup holders.
The Egyptian training camp is being overseen by head coach Hossam El Badry, who is working to improve the squad’s fitness and tactical readiness before the start of its domestic and continental commitments.
Al Ahli Tripoli are preparing to compete in the Libyan Super Cup and the CAF Confederation Cup, having secured continental qualification by winning the Libyan Cup.
