Bangladeshi human trafficker arrested in Libya

A Bangladeshi national was arrested in Libya on charge of trafficking 37 Bangladeshis to inside the country. The man was identified as Sujan.

Following allegations from Bangladeshi workers in Libya, a team of police with the help of the Bangladesh Embassy in Libya arrested him, said a Facebook post on the embassy’s page.

Recently 37 Bangladeshi job seekers, who were trafficked to Libya illegally, were detained in Gharyan city of Libya. They were sent to ‘Al-Hamra’ detention centre.
