Hatif Libya telecom company: Network signal to be active in hours, after one-day loss

The Director Manager of the telecom company, Hatif Libya, Hussein Tweilib, confirmed Friday the loss of mobile phones network in areas of Al-Khumus and all eastern and southern Libya.
He said Saturday that the loss of signal was due to damage done to the fiber cables positioned 6 k away from Al-Khumus, pointing out that it was an act of vandalism.
Tweilib also said that telecommunications and internet network would probably be reactivated in the coming hours today after a considerable sincere job done by the maintenance teams of Hatif Libya.
