Abu Saleem Central Security Department arrested Wednesday an armed gang accused of kidnapping Burkina Faso’s Consul, after they had broken into his home and stole all they could lie their hands on.

The arrested persons were part of a gang that is working as an abduction gang trading the abductees with huge ransoms, officials reported.

The gangsters were referred to the Attorney General’s Office, while search is underway for the members who are still at large.
