The Libyan dinar has sharply dropped today in the black market to 9 dinars per one dollar, while the one euro registered over 10 dinars, in a yet another blow to the value of the country’s currency.

The new setback in the value of the Libyan dinar came Sunday with more uncertainties in the political and military conflicts that are raging on across the country.

While this sharp drop came now, it is worth mentioning that over the last seven 10 months the one dollar has ranged between 7 and 8.50 Libyan dinars and never less.

The official rates of the exchange remain as low as 1.40 Libyan dinars for each one dollar.
