NOC: Libya’s oil output can swiftly thrive once the country is stable
The Director Manager of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanallah, confirmed that Libya can boost its oil output quickly once stability prevails in the country, pointing out that the NOC is waiting for the kickoff of the UN-backed Government of National Accord.
Sanallah added, on the margin of a meeting in the Oil summit in Paris, France, that Libya’s oil production shrank to 360 bpd when it used to be 1.5 million bpd in the past, clarifying that this has happened due to the crisis that has taken so long.
He also confirmed that the Libyan NOC is the only institution responsible for selling the Libyan oil in the country, warning about dealing with any other “shadowy” organisations.
