Second Italian humanitarian aid arrives in Benghazi

The Presidential Council’s media bureau has announced that the second shipment of medical aid offered by Italian government to Benghazi has reached the city, pointing out that the shipment was received at Tripoli Port according to international procedures and then went to Benghazi after coordination with the relevant state authorities including the Ports Authority, Maritime Transport, Customs Authority, and National Maritime Transport.

“Libyan Airlines helped in the delivering the cargo by transferring it from Mitiga Airport to Tobruk airport free of charge.

The cargo then was delivered to Benghazi Local Council, which distributed it to the specialised authorities, as the cargo consisted of medicine and medical supplies.
