The Municipal Council of Tarhouna, 200 km from Tripoli, has announced that it has received so far 3000 families from Sirte, Abu Grein and Al-Washka as well as some other ares at the suburbs of Sirte.

The Municipality said those families escaped the ongoing clashes between the ISIS militias and the forces of the Joint Operations Room of the Central Region, appointed by the Presidential Council of the UN-backed GNA.

“Almost about 250 families arrived in Tarhouna every day over the last week.” The Municipality of Tarhouna disclosed.

It also urged all the specialized authorities and charities to help Tarhouna accommodate the growing number of those dislocated families, who escaped from the ISIS-controlled districts.
