Tubu Culture Day celebrated in Libya’s Sabha

The Tubu Culture Day Festival was kicked off Saturday in Sabha in the presence of civil societies, residents, elders and officials from the city.
The festival saw many activities including Tubu poetry that spoke of the tribe’s culture and traditions over the years.
The Tubu tribe is one of the two desert tribes that are essential components of the Libyan society – the second is Tuareg.
The festival also saw art, music, and dance activities that are part of the cultural heritage of the Tubu tribe, besides the exhibition that showed Tubu-owned objects that speak of their culture.
