UNSMIL staffers arrived in Tripoli to resume work in Libya

On Monday, some of the UNSMIL personnel arrived in Mitiga airport in Tripoli to resume their work from the capital.

The Media Office Head of the diplomatic security department, Muhammad Al-Gheneimy, said that the UNSMIL staffers came back to resume work from one of the UN buildings in Tripoli, and they were secured by the diplomatic security policemen.

According to Al-Gheneimy, Turkish, Moroccan, and Tunisian embassy personnel have arrived earlier in April in Tripoli, pointing out that the Egyptian, German and Italian embassies are expected to reopen in Tripoli soon.
