Clashes continue in Abu Salim, Tripoli, as civilians flee random shelling

Civilians have been seen fleeing the district of Abu Salim in Tripoli after hours of clashes between Al-Burki armed group and Ganiwa armed group in the district.

According to eyewitnesses, the clashes that erupted yesterday night have led to big number of destruction in personal properties, shops, malls and the district’s infrastructure.

Sources said that heavy and medium weapons, tanks and armored vehicles were used in the fight.

No details about the number of injuries or deaths from the two warring sides.

The two warring sides have many times clashes among civilian houses causing panic and destruction.

No official statements or intervention has been forwarded on the clashes by the GNA or the Presidential Council yet.
