Al-Khaleej Al-Arabi Oil Company says production in Hammad field stopped
The spokesman of the oil company of Al-Khaleej Al-Arabi, Omran Al-Zuway, said the oil production in Hammad oil field had stopped as a group from the Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG) shut it down.
AL-Zuway added that the real cause of the shutdown by the group jhas not been cleared yet saying that the group called for their financial dues and salaries for the reopening.
The (PFG) is in control of the oil crescent region where most of Libya’s oil fields and ports lie. Libya’s oil production has completely slid and the country now is suffering from many issues as its economy depends solely on oil production.
