Haftar discusses weapons delivery to Libya in Russia

The leader of Dignity Opertion, Khalifa Haftar, arrived in Russia on Monday and discussed a number of issues including weapons deliveries with Russia’s Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, the Russian ambassador to Libya told Sputnik Tuesday.
“Yes, he is in Moscow now. Yesterday he had a meeting with Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, with the Russian defense minister. Today, he will have a meeting in the [Russian] Foreign Ministry,” Molotkov said.
He added that the sides discussed a number of issues, including Moscow’s efforts in strengthening and consolidation of Libya, as well as Russia’s weapon deliveries to the African nation.
