2 charged in kidnapping of girl photographed nude in Misurata
TikTok posted a video that led to the arrest of the accused
Police in the city of Misurata arrested two people for kidnapping and forcing an immoral act on a twenty-year-old girl east of the city.
In a statement, the Public Prosecutor’s Office said the accused were found after TikTok posted the video, and after investigation and data analysis, the culprits were tracked and the victim’s location was determined.
Interrogation was taken over by the West Misurata Primary Prosecutor, then they were remanded in custody for treatment of the victim’s injuries.
