5 ISIS militants killed in Al-Fatayeh, Derna
Derna revolutionary fighters stormed Saturday dawn one of ISIS strongholds in Al-Fatayeh district front line near the city’s flour factory, which turned to be an operations room for the terrorist group.
Press Solidarity reported a security source saying that five ISIS militants were killed and one was captured and is now under interrogation, adding that heavy clashes are still taking place with a clear upper hand for the Derna revolutionary fighters.
Al-Fatayih has been a spot for clashes between Derna revolutionary fighters backed up by other fighters from nearby areas and ISIS militants for several months.
