Mitiga airport: Flights suspended over Libyan Airways pilots strike
The Libyan Airways pilots of the Airbus 330 announced an open strike cancelling Monday flights from Mitiga airport in Tripoli to Amman and Jeddah.
The strike came due to problems between the employees and the administration of Libyan Airways including delay of salary payment for the western region’s employees.
On the other hand, the airliner’s financial administration has called on the pilots and all employees to be patient and to remain faithful to their jobs discarding all calls for strike, which will badly impact the company and its income.
