Derna Shura Mujahedeen Council busts Dignity Operation sleeper cell
The media office of Derna Shura Mujahedeen Council said they arrested a sleeper cell affiliated with Dignity Operation (Karama) in the city of Derna Tuesday.
The media office added that the sleeper cell had a number of military equipment and ammunition ready to use them to destabilize the city as part of Dignity Operation’s leader, Khalifa Haftar’s plan to attack Derna during Ramadan.
It also said that the council received a tipoff about an ISIS sleeper cell in the city that also aims at destabilizing the city during the holy month of Ramadan.
