Misurata forces take hold of Al-Khaleej steam power plant western Sirte

The Misurata forces, appointed by the Presidential Council under the command of Albunyan Almarsous (Steadfastness) military operation to liberate Sirte from ISIS, announced Wednesday the control of Al-Khaleej steam power plant on the coastal frontline, western Sirte.
The member of the media bureau of the military operation, Abu Bakr Al-Musrati, said three fighters were killed and 12 were wounded in the clashes against ISIS militants, saying all kinds of heavy and medium weapons were used covered by the operation’s warplanes.
“Misurata forces are now advancing toward Al-Gabaibah after ISIS militants were pushed out of the steam power plant amid an advance from the southern frontline through Al-Nahir Road (River Road) near Al-Gurdabiya airbase and Abu Hadi district having clashed violently with ISIS terrorists.” Explained Al-Musrati.
He added that Brigade 604 has controlled all the area of Wadi Jarif and Al-Batouma after ISIS militants fled the clashes, pointing out that the clashes are now taking place near Al-Gabaibah and Al-Thehair.
