Al-Thinni government’s Interior Ministry shuts down Special Missions Unit

The Interior Minister of Al-Thinni government of the Tobruk-based HoR, Muhammad Al-Fakhiry, decided to shut down the Special Missions Unit (SMU), which is headed by Faraj Gayeem.
The decision ordered all the volunteering fighters in the SMU to join and be part, along with all the SMU’s belongings, of the Ministry of the Interior Affairs, according to a Friday statement for Al-Fakhiry.
