GNA’s Defense Minister Al-Barghathi escapes assassination in Benghazi

The Defense Minister of the Government of National Accord, Mihdi Al-Barghathi has escaped an assassination attempt by a bomb car exploding next to his motorcade when he was leaving the premises of 204 Brigade in Benghazi.
The explosion of the car bomb injured one of the Brigade’s fighters and two children, one woman and one other civilian.
The media office of the GNA’s Defense Minister said Wednesday night that the injured were taken to hospital, confirming that their injuries are not so serious, as they just were wounded by flying minute shrapnel after the blast.
