Presidential Council denounces attempt to assassinate Al-Barghathi
The Presidential Council of the UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) issued a statement Thursday condemning the attempt to assassinate the Defense Minister, Mihdi Al-Barghathi last night.
The PC said it congratulates the defense minister for surviving the cowardly attempt and consolidates the wounded sue to the car bomb that blasted next to the convoy of the minister in Benghazi.
It also called on the relevant authorities to open investigation into the assassination and bring the perpetrators to justice.
