Al-Makhzum: Foreign countries’ support for Dignity Operation’s battle is blatant intervention in Libya’s affairs

The first deputy of the High Council of State (HCS) Saleh Al-Makhzum, said Wednesday that the sovereignty of the Libyan state must be respected and all formal cooperation and deals with between Libya and other countries must be through the Presidential Council of the UN-brokered Government of National Accord.
Speaking to Press Solidarity, Al-Makhzum added that the assaults and military intervention done by some foreign countries to back up the so-called Dignity Operation now and before are flagrant intervention and blindingly obvious violation of Libya’s sovereignty and domestic affairs.
“The General National Congress succeeded back then when it signed on the Skhirat agreement last December, which made the other party look for other ways to implement its long-plotted coup.” Al-Makhzum indicated, pointing out that the coup is using foreign countries for airstrikes and weapons supply in order to see February revolution’s demise.
