MSF rescues 25 migrants from a stranded dinghy off Libya’s coast
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said it had rescued Wednesday 25 illegal immigrants from a dinghy off the Libyan coast.
MSF stated that on another incident on Tuesday, its teams off the Libyan coast rescued other migrants as well, according to France Press.
The MSF organisation also reported that the number of deaths among the migrants, who are trying to flee their countries to Europe through war-tron Libya, has experienced a hike to reach 68 plus 30 missing migrants in one week.
On Monday, the Italian coastguards said they had rescued 2.200 migrants off the Libyan coast in 21 rescue operations, adding that they also recovered 16 bodies.
