Libyan forces bust 6 IS militants before they escape Sirte

The media office of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous operation in Sirte announced Sunday that it had busted six IS militants while trying to swim their way out of the city.

the Misurata-led forces added that they are continuing to save children and women from the scene as they did on Saturday when they rescued over 42 women and children.

Several women blew themselves up on Friday in suicide attacks that killed four Libyan soldiers who had granted them safe passage to leave buildings under the control of IS militants, a spokesman for government forces said.
