Libyan Diplomatic Police parades in Tripoli

The Department of Diplomatic Police and Security in Tripoli paraded its “security might” on Wednesday evening in the capital, Tripoli, to show that it is ready to provide the needed security for foreign diplomatic attaches and embassies.
According to officials from the department, the police received new funding and comprehensive support, without mention the source of the support, in a bid to prepare the police personnel for showing that they can secure the foreign diplomats in the capital.
Many cars formed a huge line in procession in the capital’s streets showing off the vehicles and personnel of the Diplomatic Police Department, aiming at earning the trust of the foreign diplomatists to see more embassies reopening in Tripoli like the Italian and Turkish ones.
