27 petrol stations shut down in southern Libya
The fuel and gas commission at the Brega Oil Company said Sunday that 27 patrol stations were closed in the south upon charges of violating the laws as well as involvement in fuel smuggling.
The head of the commission, Milad Al-Hajrasi, said there were details saying that those stations were part of smuggling operations of fuel, which will help complicate Libya’s crisis more, especially in the south.
He added that after more investigations by the Attorney General’s Office, the 27 patrol stations will lose their licenses and will face charges of economic crimes, whose victims were the simple Libyan citizens.
