Presidential Council condemns airstrikes on Jufra

The Presidential Council has condemned the brutal airstrikes on Jufra and the destruction of the infrastructure and sending people into panic in Hun, Wadan and Sokna towns.
In a statement posted by the Presidential Council’s media office, the PC urged for halting the airstrikes on the areas in central Libya to save the lives of people.
“We warn of any more reckless acts that are hindering peace in Libya. We call for end of the irresponsible escalation.” The PC added.
Operation Dignity warplanes conducted over 15 airstrikes on locations, houses and properties in Jufra, leading to the death and injury of a number of civilians.
