Libya telecom officials deny stealing RascomStar-QAF1 satellite by Gulf states

The Gharyan control center, which is tasked with controlling RascomStar-QAF1, said the media outlets’ news and social media chitchat about stealing the satellite by some Gulf states are untrue and everything is fine for the satellite.
According to the Gharyan control center, the Libyan African Investment Portfolio, (LAIP) owns about 65% of the project, which has tow other participants – the African Organisation for Africa Telecommunications and the operating French company, Thales Alenia Space.
