Italy supports Libyan National Dialogue with 600 thousand Euros

The Italian Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday, it has allocated a contribution of 600 thousand Euros for the Libyan national dialogue, under the umbrella of the United Nations.
The Italian Foreign Minister, Angelino Alfano noted that this initiative is “a strong testimony to Italy’s commitment and support to the plan of action of the UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame”
In addition to supporting the national dialogue, the Italian foreign ministry said it “decided to make a contribution of 275,000 Euros for the Libyan people’s election project aimed at supporting the High National Elections Commission,” according to Italian news agency Aki.
