Palestinian President shuns meeting with U.S Vice President over Jerusalem decision

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will not meet U.S. Vice President Mike Pence when Pence visits the region in protest over the U.S. recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the Palestinian foreign minister said on Saturday.
Violence broke out for in Gaza and in other Palestinian cities because of U.S. president announcement, on Wednesday.
Another possible meeting with Pence has also been rejected by Egypt’s Coptic Church, MENA state news agency reported.
The decision infuriated the Arab world and upset Western allies alike
Arab foreign ministers pushed for the United States to abandon its decision and said the move would prompt aggression throughout the region, on Saturday
