560 Nigerian illegal immigrants rerun home from Libya
More than 6,000 illegal immigrants from Nigeria were deported from Libya in 2017.
The returnees, who were repatriated as part of the International Organisation for Migration’s program, arrived at the airport on board Max Air with 540 adults and 20 infants on board.
Libya has been the number one favorite destination for African and Sub-Saharan nationals since 2012 in order to reach Europe.
