Libyan HCS puts off meeting with Central Bank, Audit Bureau on security grounds

The Libyan High Council of State (HCS) put off a meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank and the Head of the Audit Bureau on security grounds.
The HCS said the meeting was supposed to be held to listen to Al-Seddiq Al-Kabir’s and Khalid Shakshak to find out the causes of the country’s financial and economic problems as well as their plans to face this crises, according to the HCS member, Ali Swayeh told Xinhua on Wednesday.
“We were surprised a few minutes before the beginning of the meeting, as everyone was waiting the Head of the Council Abdurrahman Swehli, that the meeting was postponed to next week for security reasons,” Swayeh added.
“There were no clear signs of danger in holding the session, as circumstances were normal and smooth,” Swayeh told Xinhua.
