Salabi to Bashagha: Misurata is the cornerstone for resolving Libya’s crisis

The boycotting member of the House of Representatives Fathi Bashagha revealed that he and the member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) Ali Salabi discussed Tawergha IDPs’ issue on the phone on Wednesday.
The HoR member tweeted that Salabi reaffirmed that comprehensive reconciliation is needed in Libya and it starts from the safe return of Tawerghans to their city.
He also added that Salabi thinks of Misurata city as the cornerstone for reconciliation and building of the Libyan state.
The return of Tawergha IDPs has been hindered leading to leaving the displaced families on the road and obliging them to camp in Grarat Al-Gatef area halfway between Tawergha and Bani Walid.
