Second Presidential Council membership suspension in a single day
The Presidential Council member, Fathi Al-Mijbri, has suspended his membership over dispute about the selection of ministers in the new formation of the Government of National Accord, Fathi Bu Sitta, a member in the PC, told Press Solidarity.
Bu Sitta said that it is not possible that the PC will announce the formation of the cabinet today or tomorrow, as the dispute intensified among members and as suspensions grew in number.
Earlier Thursday, Deputy President of the PC, Ali Al-Gotrani announced suspension of participating in the PC meetings over a fight that broke out between him and the PC member, Ahmed Mitig, as they both exchanged slaps during cabinet formation discussions.
