German navy rescues migrants off Libyan shores

Germany’s navy forces rescued Thursday 121 illegal immigrants, 50 Kilometers off the Libyan coast, German army said in a statement on Friday.
Among those on board, there were three women and three children in a boat sailing along 50 Kilometers off the Libyan shore on their way to Europe, the statement added, pointing that a German ship had delivered them to the Italian coast guards.
Approximately, 200 illegal immigrants had also been rescued on Wednesday by the German ship “Berlin”.
