Misrata’s Al-Dafiniya checkpoint reopens after two-day closure
Al-Dafiniya checkpoint at the western entrance of Misrata has reopened Monday and began to let cars and people pass through to the city after it has been closed for two days by protesters.
One of the protesters in there told Press Solidarity that a delegation from Misrata Notables and Elders called on them to reopen the western gate in return of putting pressure on the government to respond to their demands.
On Saturday, a number of protesters closed Al-Dafiniya checkpoint demanding compensations for the damages that happened to their properties during the liberation war.
