Gold Reserves Report: Libya is ranked 4th in the Arab world and 31st worldwide

The annual report of the World Gold Council placed Libya fourth on the Arab countries and thirty-first on the world regarding the gold reserves that each country has got in store.
Libya has 116.6 tons of gold being kept as a back up reserve for the country, which made it come fourth after Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Algeria in the Arabic list.
Last year report also placed Libya under the same rank with the same amount of gold reserves, which proves that the gold policy in the country is stable, among many other shaky economic issues, analysts say.
