The SSA action was taken after a complaint from the woman’s ex husband, according to Ean Libya News Outlet.

In an interrogation, the arrested woman confessed to physically assaulting her children, the son is five and the daughter is four.

The incident has triggered outrage among social media users, who called for strict action against the accused.

The necessary legal measures were taken and the suspect was referred to the prosecutor’s office for disposition, according the news outlet.
