Misrata Municipality calls Libyans to support GNA kickoff in Tripoli
Misrata Municipality has applauded the unlimited support given to the Libyan political agreement and its Government of National Accord, stressing that it strongly backs the GNA up, which was approved by the majority of Tobruk Parliament members.
In a statement Friday, the municipality said it hails the UNSMIL efforts in implementing the Skhirat agreement, calling on Libyans and the revolutionary fighters, who care for their country, to support the GNA, saying that it must operate from Tripoli in no time.
The Skhirat agreement provided reasonable guarantees for the revolutionary fighters to involve them into the military institution and security departments, stressing that they won’t be under any prosecution.
