Libyan PM meets Syrian President at Antalya

Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, met with Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara on Friday as part of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum 2025.
The GNU Media Office stated that the meeting discussed several topics, emphasising Libya’s continued support for the Syrian people and their stability, thus enhancing peace and stability efforts in Syria.
The office added that they agreed to activate the Libyan-Syrian Joint High Committee to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields and regulate the status of Syrian residents in Libya.
